Location:  Wright County

The City of Clearwater lies between the Mississippi River, Clearwater River, Interstate 94 and County Road 7.  Topography within Clearwater is mostly flat.  Scattered areas of steep slopes along the rivers and Highway 75 and 7 in the southern portion.  Clearwater is minimally affected by flooding as the Mississippi River waters generally parallel the shoreline.  State Highway 24 runs through Clearwater connecting I94 and Highway 10.  Travel 15 miles to reach St. Cloud and 50 miles to the Twin Cities.
