Dear Residents and Community Members,
We would like to inform you of an important update regarding official City communications.
Beginning May 1, 2026, all city-wide email addresses will transition from the current “.com” domain to a new “.gov” domain. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance security, improve transparency, and ensure residents can easily identify official communications from the City.
What this means for you:
- All city staff email addresses will be updated to the new “.gov” format.
- Emails sent from the previous “.com” addresses will no longer be in use after the transition date.
- Please update your contact lists to reflect the new email addresses.
During this transition, we will work to ensure minimal disruption to services. Additional reminders and updated contact information will be shared in the coming weeks.
