Please be advised that jetting of the city sewer lines will begin June 13th, 2024, and take place over the next few weeks. Work will start in the Cedar South neighborhood and will be completed throughout the city. Jetting is a regular maintenance process used to clean sewer pipes. Please contact City Hall at 320-558-2428 if you have any questions or concerns.

What is “jetting”?

Jetting is the process used to clean sewer pipes. It is conducted as a preventative maintenance effort to remove any solids that have accumulated in the sanitary system. This routine maintenance helps to prevent blockages and sewer backups. Jetting involves the powerful force of pressurized water through the pipe, allowing it to move dirt, debris, and any other solid matter.

If you have any questions on the jetting process, please contact Public Works at 320-558-2233. https://www.clearwatercity.com/publicworks
